Top Hung Window Controls
Manual Window Control systems on Top Hung Open Out vents can operate up to four opening windows from one handle. Compliant with uPVC, aluminium, timber or steel windows. Pratley & Partners systems enable the vents to be opened 250mm, 380mm or 500mm.

Bottom Hung Window Controls
Bottom hung inward opening vents can be operated by either the standard manual window controls chain unit or alternatively by using a locking manual window opener. This is determined by the size of the fixed frame at the head of the window. This type of window controller is compatible with uPVC, aluminium, timber or steel windows systems enabling the vents to be opened 250mm, 380mm or 500mm.

Side Hung Vents

Parallel Opening Vents
Parallel window openers can be used to optimise natural ventilation and air exchange without compromising safety and security. With this type of system, fresh air is drawn in via the bottom and side of the vent, while stale air is expelled via the top. Our Parallel window control systems are ideal for use in curtain wall facades or high rise commercial buildings.

Rooflights / Screwjack Window Controls
Rooflight and screwjack window opener systems are used to operate single or multiple pitched roof lights, top hung or centre hung windows or roof domes. The Screwjack opener is now fully manufactured by L J Pratley & Partners. The openers have been redesigned with a number of improvements. The Screwjacks now are a full aluminium construction, with a new brass cog, have bracketry improvements and are capable of lifting 45Kgs in weight.
